Flowerpalooza.Mania.Carnivale.

This morning a floral designer friend of mine was involved in a bridal show and I said I would come take some pictures of her fabulous wares.
Check them out. They will make you scream.
This one is so impressive in person and this picture absolutely does not do it justice. It stands—I’m not kidding---like five feet tall.

Check out the BLUE!!!

Carnations. Calla lilies. Tulips. Where do I sign?
This is so fun.
So fun.
I have never seen gold orchids before. Excellent for Fall!
Very British antique-y. And seriously. CARNATIONS!!!

Blue Thistles! Leave it to God to make a weed gorgeous.
The closest thing to a Ranunculus humans could make is tissue paper. Doesn't hold a candle. Naturally. Because Ranunculi are supernatural.
There is no way some untested, so called "Theory of Evolution" could produce this. Trust me, I am into fashion and layers don't just happen. They get put there.

Look at those dead branches! This is pretty much the closest thing to a woman the flower world can design: Dry bones covered with living beauty decked out in jewels and baubles.

Not your mama's topiary:
The Mania. Palooza. Carnivale. Let it ensue.

And which of you by being anxious can add one hour to your life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the flowers of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown in tot he fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious about anything saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." Matthew 6:27-34
